We are Connected Youth, a young and ever-growing Youth Ministry for students aged 9+ and high schoolers within Star of the Sea Catholic Parish in Cleveland QLD.
Connected Youth is about youth leading fun, meaningful and purposeful lives through authentic connections with other kids and teens, with Jesus, the Church and the world.
CY Nights
Saturday nights with your mates have just gotten better! What’s in store?! Get ready for fun games, laughter, making new friends, snacking on yummo food, discussing meaningful topics, praise and worship and more, as we live out our Christian faith with joy and gratitude!
CY Chill Out
An awesome place to hang out during the week with your mates where you can chat, laugh, play some foosball, listen to music and just chill. Come and check out our awesome Chill Out Zone with your mates!
CY Fun
Instead of CY Nights at the Parish Centre, we head out for some serious fun! Think bowling, movies, laser tag, ice skating, roller skating, bon fire nights, dinner or perhaps something else, we welcome your suggestions!
CY Share
Small groups that meet at the Connected Youth Chill-out Zone to develop authentic Christian friendships, participate in prayer, praise and worship and talk about faith on a deeper level. It is a safe, non-judgemental space where you can be your authentic self and cared for unconditionally. Teen topics are explored from social and emotional, spiritual and practical perspectives.
